Job Title: Sr. Specialist, Materials Management
Reports to: Materials Management, Sr. Manager
Location: Queen Creek, AZ
Yearly Salary: $75K-95K
Summary :
The Sr. Specialist, Materials Management, is responsible for sourcing and selecting global suppliers to enhance cost efficiency and support the company’s overall competitiveness. This role oversees the raw materials and custom processes. Acting as a key liaison between U.S. operations and headquarters in South Korea, the specialist will also be responsible for facilitating communication and translating purchasing-related documents to ensure alignment across both regions.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and provide weekly, monthly, and annual reports to leadership and headquarters
Analyze and maintain open communication regarding purchasing forecasts across various vendors
Review supplier inquiries related to payment status, invoices, data accuracy, and budget compliance, and ensure proper follow-up and adherence to process standards
Communicate feedback on purchasing processes to both headquarters and internal teams
Monitor and disseminate policy updates from headquarters to the purchasing team to ensure alignment
Lead the standardization of systems and continuous process improvement across global teams (headquarters, Poland, China, and others), ensuring compliance within the U.S. operation
Review and analyze new project contracts, focusing on risk assessment, documentation accuracy, and proper registration in the system
Collaborate with the legal department to ensure contracts are reviewed and approved as required
Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) annually, including metrics such as supplier negotiation rates and purchase order issuance. Set targets in line with global benchmarks and monitor monthly progress
Monitor purchase order due dates and closure timelines to ensure on-time delivery
Compile and categorize monthly purchasing data, share insights with internal teams, and report findings to headquarters
Conduct annual supplier evaluations by category to support strategic sourcing and performance management
Perform Layered Process Audits (LPA) in designated areas to ensure procedural compliance and process integrity
Maintain cleanliness at the worksite in accordance with 5S3R Standards:
- 5S : Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain
- 3R : Right Location, Right Quantity, Right Container
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Requirements :
Minimum of 7 years of experience in materials management or procurement, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment
Bachelor’s Degree in general business, business administration, supply chain, logistics, engineering or related field required
English/Korean bilingual required
Experience in orders/settlements/contracts for outsourcing construction
Skills:
Positive, dedicated attitude and demonstrated effectiveness to achieve given goals within due dates
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrates a strong sense of ownership by taking full responsibility for assigned tasks and ensuring their successful completion
Demonstrate teamwork and effectiveness in accomplishing goals

Summary :
In this role, you will serve as the Customs Compliance Specialist, responsible for overseeing import operations and managing relationships with external customs service providers. You will ensure full compliance with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations, streamline import processes, and support the effective operation of the company’s Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ). This position requires close coordination with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and internal stakeholders across supply chain, logistics, and trade compliance functions. This role requires being comfortable operating in a bilingual (English/Korean) business environment and demonstrate strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Responsibilities:
Oversee daily U.S. import customs clearance activities, ensuring full compliance with CBP and applicable government agency regulations
Serve as the primary point of contact for external customs brokers and freight forwarders; manage performance, address issues, and ensure timely and accurate customs processing
Administer and maintain Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) operations, ensuring adherence to compliance requirements, including inventory control, recordkeeping, and reporting
Maintain accurate and up-to-date import documentation, including HTS classifications, country of origin determinations, and product valuation data
Partner with cross-functional teams—including logistics, procurement, and legal—to ensure import operations align with corporate objectives and compliance standards
Conduct regular audits of customs entries and broker activities to verify accuracy, identify discrepancies, and maintain regulatory compliance
Support internal and external audits, including CBP reviews and assessments from other relevant authorities
Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction within customs and import operations, and lead implementation of best practices
Monitor and interpret updates to U.S. trade regulations, including CBP guidance, USMCA provisions, and other international trade agreements, to ensure proactive compliance
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Requirements:
Minimum of 7 years of experience in customs compliance, import operations or international logistics, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment
Bachelor’s Degree in general business, business administration, supply chain, logistics, engineering or related field required
English/Korean bilingual required
Experience managing third-party customs brokers or logistics service providers
Experience with Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) operations preferred
Licensed Customs Broker (LCB) certification preferred
Skills :
