SNC Engineering is a steel detailing company (Steel Detailing is the production of shop drawings for a steel fabricator/erector for a project). 2 positions available: Assistant Project Manager & Assistant Detailer



Job Title: Entry-level Project Manager (Entry-Level) Steel Detailing (Full Time)

Duties & Requirements:

Project Managers are responsible for managing all aspects of detailing which includes coordinating with the Steel Fabricators, design team, and other suppliers to the project as well as maintaining quality of the drawings, schedules, costs, and good customer service.

Most Duties will include:

Assisting current project managers

Coordinate with the fabricator and design team as well as with other suppliers

Job Requirements:

Fluent in English and Korean is a plus

Must have good organizational skills, detailed oriented, and attitude.

Education & Work Experience:

Minimum H.S. Diploma.

B.A. in Architecture, B.S. in Civil or Structural Engineering is a plus.

Experience in construction, construction management is also a plus.

Other Specialized Knowledge & Skills: Not necessary since you will be learning through the job but the following would be a great plus:

Ability to read and interpret shop and design blueprint drawings.

Proven ability to manage large multiple commercial and industrial projects.

General knowledge of 3D modeling / Tekla system, Autodesk, Microsoft office, & Bluebeam.

Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting stringent deadlines.



Job Title: Entry-level Steel Detailer/Modeler (Full Time)

Description: No prior experience in construction/engineering is required. As long as you are motivated and dedicated to learn. We will always consider you a strong candidate.

Most Duties will include:

Produce/detailing structural steel shop drawings.

QA/QC and making redline revisions per return approvals from Architect/Engineers

Assisting in Modeling for several project.

Job Requirements:

Must have good organizational skills, detailed oriented, and attitude.

Understanding simple mathematics and geometry

Education & Work Experience: none required

What is Steel Detailing?

Steel Detailing is the production of shop drawings for a steel fabricator/erector. A steel fabricator/erector is a company who provides, and sometimes - installs, the steel framework for a construction project. A steel detailer's duty is to generate the drawings that the fabricator will use to cut and weld all the necessary members together. A steel detailer also generates the layout instructions to facilitate the installation and erection of these steel framework.
