Accounting Assistant/Coordinator (Bilingual Korean/ English)

The ideal candidate would be bilingual in Korean and English, with a background in accounting or logistics/import/customs, and meticulous attention to detail.
Tasks:
• Check for any purchase orders that require LCs using shipment schedules.
• Follow up with vendors regarding discrepancies in the documentation.
• Prepare LC application forms after issuing POs.
• Update LC numbers to shipment schedules and PO spreadsheet.
• Check PO numbers, style numbers, unit prices and quantities using information in the shipment schedule and A2000.
• File separate documents for custom duty (total invoice) and TT payment portions.
• Check all received goods quantities in A2000 with vendors’ invoices for preparing TT payments.
• Prepare weekly outstanding payment summaries for all vendors.
• Organize and file LC payments, TT payments and original BL after pay.
• Communicate all payment information to vendors after making payments.
• Reconcile invoice amounts and payment amounts daily.
• Provide assistance to the department manager as assigned.
Requirements:
• 1+ years of Import/Logistics/Customs related field or Accounting related field preferred
• Skilled in Excel required
• Bilingual in Korean and English preferred
• Must be highly organized and have attention to detail

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
